Colour, pageantry and passion have been the hallmark of every
Kala Madhyam Arts Mela, which celebrates India on one stage.
It is an annual event held towards the tail end of the year (Oct – Dec).
The Mela is a synergetic blend of Indian cultural traditions:
folk paintings, handicrafts, performing arts and foods from all
over India come together. A key objective of the festival is
to ensure that sales occurred directly from craftsperson to consumer,
ensuring that the profits went straight to the artists and artisans.
